Think I may have been scammed on Vinted, Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. Advice?

Bought a Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30 from Vinted. Box is a bit beaten up but looks genuine as does the glass jar, but it doesn’t look and smell right and the jar wasn’t sealed in the box, and the box did not have cellophane round it.

I have previously only had the Marine Cream without the SPF so I could be wrong here, but please could someone else who has this cream tell me:

Is it slightly creamy in colour and a bit pearly or is it bright white?

Dows it smell sweetly floral or more of a normal face cream smell?

It smells like Aqueous Cream! Does the SPF version of this smell like Aqueous cream?

Did the description say it was brand new and were there pictures of the box?

I've just cleared out a few creams and hand lotions that I open ages ago and never used up. They all smelled a bit musky which is understandable as they do go off after a while.

Yeah it was a scam. The pictures showed a beaten up box, but in cellophane. The box that came was not in cellophane and I have just had this response.

The image is under review but it basically says “oh no! I will give you a full refund, my partner gave me some bits to clear out, you don’t have to send it back”

Tbh Elemis for £15 screams scam , you know how expensive that stuff is , glad you got refunded without hassle though

And I had an inkling it was too good to be true, so when I got it I recorded myself opening the parcel from start to finish so you can even see the moment I went “ohhhhh dear this smells wrong” and you can see that what I opened wasn’t in the cellophane. Oh well. Glad I got a refund no hassle and a lesson learned.

Yeah she knew and doesn’t want to get banned, I’d report to vinted and block. Stop them scamming the next person.
