Short dress and tights. What on my feet?

Just that. I’m wearing a knee length dress and black tights as it’s chilly but I’m unsure what to wear on my feet. Any ideas? Are trainers ok to wear?

I would wear a chunky black loafer, black brogues, or my Solovair boots. I don't personally like the look of tights and trainers.

This is pretty much my uniform, I tend to wear black converse. If I was wanting to look a bit smarter I would wear brogues on loafers.

They’d have to be just the right trainers that are more glam than most. I’d wear black, flat ballet type pumps that used to be ever so popular but seem to have vanished lately or a short ankle boot.

@EgregiouslyOverdressed@MintTwirlgood call re:loafers. I’ll have to get some darker ones. I do have dm boots, lace up and Chelsea boot but I’m 55 and don’t want to look like a try hard 🤦🏻‍♀️. I do have some lovely dune knee high suede boots so I’ll stick with them as I get what you say about trainers and tights.

Depends on the dress and trainers, but yes I would potentially wear that.
