Maternity wear that is good, not wildly expensive and not depressing

Ironically I work in fashion. I'm really struggling with maternity clothing, everything I look at is is boring or shit.

Normally I'm fairly androgynous in how I dress - I like Cos but it's pricy. I like loose fit clothing or something a bit sporty - unfortunately I'm also 5'2 - normally around a size 10 but as I get bigger wearing looser clothing makes me look more like I've been hammering the cake instead of someone who's pregnant. (not going to lie I have also been hammering the cake)

Can anyone signpost any decent maternity wear - Good jeans and a few other core things. I've made my pre-preg wardrobe last so far hoping for warm weather and dresses but now Im 27 weeks, it's cold out there and I need to look moderately fashionable or at least not shit.

Help!

When I first started recommending:

Beyond Nine

it was perceived as niche and unreasonably expensive. Now, I gather it’s so popular (amongst women neither pregnant nor postpartum) that they sell out of some new pieces almost immediately. See what you think …

I do like Beyond 9!
Unfortunately the amount of Gingam and Tunics will make me look like a Nordic Trad Wife or as I'm short a fat 10 year old.

La Redoute do some nice things, but I just got everything from Vinted. I was the same timings as you so third trimester through the summer - I managed to get buy with loose dresses (not maternity ones)

My go to is next as they do tall maternity which is the opposite issue. But they might have some good petite stuff too?

Honestly I think a lot of maternity fashion loses all shape and just becomes oversized fabric. Layering and proportions probably matter more than buying fully maternity specific outfits.
I actually read this breakdown on layering and silhouette balance earlier and some of the points felt surprisingly relevant.
