Prom dress shopping in person

DD is 18 and has school prom coming up. She is not a girly girl but does want a dress.

Neither she nor I pay much attention to fashion and I don’t know where to start looking.

where can I take her to try on dresses? I’m not going to buy online because I don’t think I can judge the fit.

we are in London and the budget is around £200.

We went to House of CB on Oxford st. It’s a popular choice! DD really enjoyed it. Her dress is strapless, fitted and navy blue. It’s really well made

House of CB or RiRi's (that's in Essex, but is amazing!)

I'm taking my DD shopping for hers this weekend. I just googled prom dress shops near me and it came up with two options.
