Ethical brands for colourful, comfortable wardrobe updates in my forties

I want to upgrade my wardrobe!

I’ve been living in M&S jeans and Landsend T-shirts for the last few years while I had little kids, and I am desperately lacking colour and style!

I’m 43, size 12, straight up and down shape (no boobs!)

I’d really like to choose high quality fabrics from ethical brands. Avoiding polyester!

I’d love some jumpsuits/dungarees, bright trousers, heavy cotton dresses, comfortable blouses, soft easy-wear jackets…

Can anyone steer me to brands that might be a good start?

@DareDevil223 , the collar doesn't sit right.

Had zero time this week to actually go through all these links yet, but I am so looking forward to doing so, with a giant cup of tea, this weekend! 🙏

You'll probably want to post on this link, @Wildgarlic80

I was just like this a few years ago, Jeans and t shirts the odd sweat top , so decided to change my style. Dresses , nice tops skirts, jackets. So I looked at Saltrock great dresses true to size , cotton, then Joe browns, and a few bits from fat face and boden was so pleased , I took the leap of faith .

I think that might be the fault of the stylist not noticing that one part of the collar is poking out slightly. It's not a flaw in the garment.

But that's minor compared to some of the horrors on other clothing retailers' sites! No excuse, especially when you can use Photoshop to pick up these things afterwards.

Rapanui

Baukjen

Celtic clothing

all brands I buy from regularly.

I think I was trying to de-influence myself. I had to get away from the Kindred site as I can't afford it and I don't need it.
