Acne after stopping the pill at 36, will hormones settle?

Needing some help with acne advice, I stopped taking my contraceptive pill around 7 months ago, I mainly took the pill to help control my acne since I was 13. The acne has come back and is awful, it’s on my cheeks, neck, chest and back and it’s really getting me down, I’m 36 years old and feel like a spotty teenager. Will my hormones eventually even out or anyone have ideas of what to try? I’ve tried all natural products so far which hasn’t helped at all. Generally have a good diet, drink lots of water, good routine, sleep well etc

I would go back to your GP. Depending upon your reason for stopping the pill you might want to think about restarting or other medical treatments eg isoretinoin.

I had this in 2020 when I came off the pill. It actually took a few months to kick in but it was awful. I did use tretinoin that I got in prescription but really the only thing that healed it was time. It took about a year unfortunately.

Only way I stopped mine was prescription tret from Dermatica. But no good if you are TTC.
