Are AX Paris wedding guest dresses decent quality on a budget?

I’ve found a couple of dresses I like for a June wedding coming up:

are these dresses nice? And has anyone bought from AX Paris and are the dresses ok quality? I know it’s a budget brand I’ve not got a huge budget probably £60 max and I won’t wear it again or not for a while.

Wow I love the orange one!

ChefsKisser · Yesterday 06:51

@namechangeformeeee thanks I love the shape of it! I’m relatively slim except for a mum tum so I find it hard to dress as ones that fit the rest of me often highlight it as I expect most size 8/10 women don’t have a wobbly shelf at the bottom of their stomach 😢

I love the orange one too, it’s a beautiful classic shape.

Ax is my go to for cheap occasion-wear. The materials will likely by polyester rather than pure cotton, but it’s well sewn and well shaped. For a dress I’m likely to only wear once in a blue moon they’ve always served me well

AX Paris pretty decent quality. 100% polyester, but I struggled to find a dress that wasn't when I was looking last year

I’ve had a couple (albeit not for a while) and they were both well made, washed easily, and still going strong. The styles I bought came up big but they were flowy boho wrap-top midaxi dresses, so can’t comment on anything more clingy.

Love the orange one too!

Yep they’re pretty decent. I have found that after a few wears and washes the fabric may start to bobble, the elastic may become loose, there may be a small hole, etc etc, but they do pretty stuff and you can get a good few wears out of them.

Orange one is 5 stars.....

Yellow i don't love the colour but its probably because its a hard to wear colour.
I've worn £20 and £500 dresses and honestly theres often not much of a difference.

I have one from flammable granny shop ROMAN that everyone ask me if its self portrait

If you’d prefer something not in polyester Zara surprisingly is worth a look. I like this though it may not be a colour you’d choose for summer:

The yellow one looks cheap in the photo.
The orange one doesnt but you'd have to see it in real life - lovely shape and colour.
