Wild Fawn necklaces - prone to breaking?

Has anyone had any problems with Wild Fawn necklaces breaking?

I have two lovely pendants from there - admittedly dainty/fine - and one of them has snapped at least three times. I've had it repaired at a local goldsmiths each time. I wondered it it had a fault and/or the repairing was weakening it each time.

Recently the other has snapped too - after VERY little strain! - and I'm starting to think I'm a bit of a mug...I get that they're dainty gold necklaces but surely they should be able to withstand occasional, careful wear?!

There are only a few reviews on Trustpilot, which give them a good rating, though one mentioned that their item broke and the company mended it for them.
I'd leave a review if I were you.

Thanks @imbolic - I didn't think to look on there. I'll maybe email them first and see what they say, and leave a review after that. It's so frustrating - I LOVE both necklaces but if the chains aren't fit for purpose what's the point?!
