Black tie shoes - for bunions!

What a glamorous thread, I have a work black tie event next week and have what's turning into a fairly large bunion on one foot, I've just put my standard court shoes on and they are not comfortable at all!

Any recommendations for shoes? Think corporate black tie rather than party black tie, not particularly expensive as they'll only be worn a couple of times per year. Dress is black but don't mind a colour for the shoes - dark red maybe? What style would be best - sandals that 'avoid' the bunion maybe?

Have a look at Sole Bliss.
Worn by Queen Camilla and celebrities with bunions.

Sargasso and Gray are worth a look. Expensive but if you go for simplicity you will wear them again and again and get your money's worth.

They’re quite expensive, but could be dressed down with jeans for more wear out of them.
And what price comfort? It’s a terrible thing wearing shoes that hurt!

Sole Bliss. You can pick them up on Vinted/ EBay barely worn for much cheaper than retail, and they are blissfully comfortable

3rd sole bliss
Not sold in shops as far as I know, so you have to order and try, and be very careful to only try on carpet so you don't scratch the soles before returning.
I wish there was somewhere to visit and try them all on.
