I always have a problem with "slip-on" type shoes slipping off! I think it's a combination of the fact that I walk quite fast, and maybe have feet that are quite wide at the front, but narrower at the heel, so the heels keep slipping off at the back.

I would love to wear ballet pumps, but no way unless I don't actually walk anywhere in them (which kind of defeats the object of shoes).

SSSandy2 · 20/06/2008 11:26

actually I do have a pair like that from Dunlop. I think they look nicer (sorry) than the ones in that picture because they have a less fussy look somehow, cleaner lines.

Tbh I almost never wear them. I thought they'd be great for walking around town but in hot weather they are not really all that comfortable to wear. How about nice sandals with a spongey type sole to them?

MissingMyHeels · 20/06/2008 11:36

They are revolting shoes. Would not be seen dead in them.

DazedEmma · 20/06/2008 12:01

Say it how is is MMH haha, but I have to agree, I don't like them but then I'm only happy when I'm so high off the ground my head is in the clouds! Wear some nice heels, you can always lean on your pram for support if you have to walk far

Mine are pale pink and pointy and italian. The ones I really wanted were bought by a friend in the sales - they only had one pair left. I lurve them.

SheherazadetheGoat · 20/06/2008 22:49

look too flat for any serious walking. go on get a pair of birkies.

TheFallenMadonna · 20/06/2008 22:55

No good for hot weather I reckon. Sweaty

Open shoes required.

micci25 · 20/06/2008 23:00

these and these are what i have just got and i walk a lot. the first ones are really comfy i got the black ones.

controlfreakyagain · 20/06/2008 23:01

do they have enough of a heel though? ballerinas or anything completely flat make my feet / legs hurt like hell if i stomp around in them all day.... need a half inch heel imo.... can anyone find anything nice?

micci25 · 20/06/2008 23:04

they are a bit trainerish actually. so the sole is a bit bit raised at the back. feels like they have an air bubble or something too, but you cant see it.
