What colour cardigan would work best with a bright yellow dress?

I have a function to go it in a few weeks and I have a vibrant yellow dress to wear to my function. I will likely have white shoes or runners to wear with the dress. Unless if I find some brown leather shoes.

I don't know what colour cardigan to wear.

White would be lovely. Or any ‘ice cream’ colours.

Emerald green or turquoise.

Blue for an Amalfi coast vibe

White is the safe option

Soft pink

Soft green

I would tie any colour in with a bag in the same, so it looks deliberate and co-ordinated.

I have a blue one.

Off white/natural
Navy blue
Bright pink, Emerald or cobalt blue (jewel colours)
Same yellow tone if you can find it

There’s a French lady at work who is always so stylish. She had this outfit with bright yellow trousers and a sort of ruby red top. I think the colours and textures have to be just right but it was stunning. The yellow was rich and almost gold/ochre and the top was like a deep silky rose red if that makes sense.

Purple of course!

They need to be in the same hue as the yellow

You could easily wear white with bright yellow. Would look lovely. Kate Middleton often does it and she is the GOAT as we know....

Not white, bit air hostess esp with white shoes.

Cobalt blue, dark blue or purple cardigan slung about the shoulders.

I wear mine with a cobalt blue cardigan - they go really well together
