Smooche or Merida - anyone tried either of these please?

Hi everyone. Still on the hunt for the perfect foundation! I currently use Clinique Even Better which is great but looking for a lighter looking one with good coverage. I've tried a couple of Number 7 ones which are OK and a lot cheaper than Clinique. FB ads are tempting me with ads for colour matching foundations for mature skins. Very tempted as they look si good on the ads. Anyone tried Smooche or Merida. Did a quick search on FB and lots of bad reviews for Smooche. Not sure whether to believe the positive reviews! My next one to tey might be L'Oreal colour match.

Haha I just came on here to see if anyone had tried smooche as I was just mesmerised by their FB ad. I am also looking for a new foundation. I last bought the trinny one but they need to sort out their packaging as I was finding it hard to get out right from the start so I won’t be buying that again. I hope you get some helpful suggestions. I’ll be watching 👀

I’ve tried Meroda and whilst it started out well I’ve found that it turns orange as the day goes on - not a great look on my pale skin! I also found that the coverage wasn’t strong enough for me which meant I had to layer it on. Maybe that’s what made it go orange?

Bit the bullet and ordered some custom mixed foundation from Dcypher which arrived yesterday. Will be trying a full face of it today to see how it holds up but initial colour match is promising. Fingers crossed it still looks good at the end of the day!
