Looks like a loo roll cover.

I have no sense of style though.

Lizzylou · 19/06/2008 17:49

Not keen, sorry.
Looks a bit too fussy and fluffy for me.

belcantavinissima · 19/06/2008 17:50

oh dear. dont want to look like a loo roll cover

OP posts:
Tortington · 19/06/2008 17:50

nope

Romy7 · 19/06/2008 17:51

you are tall enough to get away with it - at 5ft2 i'd look like baby spice's mother, which is not a good look...

what if it was cold? no idea what you'd wear over it... not much of a style guru here either!

Tutter · 19/06/2008 17:52

oh no no no

CountessDracula · 19/06/2008 17:52

No I don't like it either
there are plenty of nice tiered things around if you look though

NO

booge · 19/06/2008 17:54

No ever, particularly not for a wedding.

lilolilmanchester · 19/06/2008 17:54

tried to look and got this message: "Uh oh!
We?re very sorry but due to high visitor numbers, our web site seems to be experiencing one of those ?technical problems?.

Please try again in a couple of minutes."

Clearly due to the high number of MNetters wants to see the "loo-roll cover dress"!!!

TillyScoutsmum · 19/06/2008 17:55

Sorry - cheap and nasty looking

lilolilmanchester · 19/06/2008 17:56

seen it now. I wouldn't wear it ( am too old, too short, and too plump). As you're slim and tall, you might be able to carry it off. But, call me old-fashioned, I wouldn't wear white/cream to a wedding.

belcantavinissima · 19/06/2008 17:58

ooops look likes a big no then! well can you poss find me something then??? am fine with everyday sort of clothes but seem to always get it a bit wrong for weddings. as you can probably tell

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 19/06/2008 17:58

how old are you?
body shape?
colouring?

wotulookinat · 19/06/2008 17:58

I think it looks like you wish you were the bride.

CountessDracula · 19/06/2008 17:59

oh and what sort of wedding?

CountessDracula · 19/06/2008 18:01

similar colour, layery, sooo much nicer for eg

CountessDracula · 19/06/2008 18:02

ruffley

Flamesparrow · 19/06/2008 18:03

That is much better... but feels a bit wedding cakish to me.

I'm on a roll tonight... loo roll, cake...

Flamesparrow · 19/06/2008 18:03

Prefer the red

belcantavinissima · 19/06/2008 18:04

looking at it again, you are all right. its a bit yuck isnt it?
i am tall, slimmish, big boobs so no high necklines or look like i have a mono boob, small waist, currently got a good tan, not too keen on my legs but they are ok, brown eyes, brown mad crazy hair with high lights. i generally suit posh-hippy look iykwim! does that help?

wedding will be quite posh but is in a hotel, not a church. bridesmaids etc all wearing chocolate brown.

OP posts:
Tutter · 19/06/2008 18:04

cd that red ruffly one is reminiscent of the reiss dresses we were looking at a while ago, no?

CountessDracula · 19/06/2008 18:05

this one?

lilolilmanchester · 19/06/2008 18:05

what's your budget?
