Can anyone recommend a good tinted moisturiser. Could do with something a little lighter than foundation.

I've got the No.7 one - you can get a trial size one in the gift box if they're still doing it .

i have the boots natural collection on, it is £1.99 and fabulous!!! really excellent.. am giving my skin a break from foundation, so using a bit of fake tan every other day and then tinted moisturiser.. i look much better and no spots !

I love the estee lauder one. Its has a SPF of 15. I also have tried the clinique and clarins versions which are also very good.

I love the Avon Personal Match barely there make-up. It is a moisturiser with tiny beads of colour in it and these match to your skin tone, I use it underneath my pressed powder. I can't use liquid foundation as I have patches of dry skin around my cheeks. Using this Avon stuff solves the problem and makes my skin look so much better and smoother. My sis borrowed some (and was very sceptical), she is now converted and wants to order some. It's not too expensive either.

I like No. 7 and Benefit's You Rebel. Neither of those gives me spots/lumps (and lots of others do, including Bobbi Brown, Chanel & Mac).

I like Clinique's Almost Make-Up, just a little more coverage than a tinted moisturiser but a much less heavy than a foundation. Evens out any blemishes well too.

think that is effectively the same as cod suggestion i hardly use any foundation on top of the moisturiser just a pea size more ig i want more coverage very flexible way to do it

harleyd · 20/06/2008 10:29

you rebel by benefit

ecco · 21/06/2008 17:32

Vichy tinted moisturiser is the best, Ive tried them all. Available from good chemist shops.

lou33 · 21/06/2008 17:33

i have the boots botanics one which isnt bad

bluesky · 21/06/2008 19:46

just treated myself to Bobbi Browns, SPF 15, very good.

cornsilk · 21/06/2008 19:48

I use Laura Mercier. I tried mixing foundation with moisturiser when I ran out recently but didn't find it gave the same coverage.

girlnextdoor · 21/06/2008 19:58

Laura mercier's is supposed to be one of the BEST - haven't used it, but like her blusher.

LaDiDaDi · 21/06/2008 20:01

When I've tried mixing moisturiser and foundation it just went really patchy on my skin.

Going shopping with dp tomorrow and I could do with some Benefit stuff, will have to hop dd tantrums at the the right moment to distract him from the cost .

AuntieMaggie · 21/06/2008 20:06

I've just ordered the avon personal match tinted moisturiser.

Tried benefit rebel but found that sometimes it makes my ace looked slightly orange but i am quite pale. my friends swear by it though.

Also tried clinique but wasn't sure whether i liked it or not.

I think it's probably best to go into boots or somewhere and get the consultants on the beauty counters to help you try them.

cornsilk · 21/06/2008 20:08

Space NK are good for helping to choose the right product.

TheOldestCat · 21/06/2008 20:10

AuntieMaggie - thought exactly like you did about Benefit 'you rebel', but now they've launched one for fairer complexions (rebel lite) and it's lush. Makes even my ultra-pale skin look just slightly more a-glow.

shreddies · 21/06/2008 20:19

Elizabeth Arden sheer lights stuff is amazing. If people ever tell me I look well, it is when I am wearing that.

cornsilk · 21/06/2008 20:23

I like Elizabeth Arden stuff. Haven't tried that tho'.
