Navy wide leg trousers

I am after some nice navy trousers to go with this blouse for evening wear on holiday. Im struggling between buying petite and regular! Some shops trousers are too long, others too short, I am 5ft4.
i have just picked up some petite ones from New Look today and they are too short!

Just buy regular length and take the trousers with you an alterations shop. Remember to bring the shoes you intend to wear with them.

I have to do this for practically every pair of trousers I own!

I could try that thanks, we don’t have any shops that do alterations near us, I could try a seamstress but they all seem busy this time of year with weddings and prom, as I tried with a skirt this time last year.

I'm 5'4 and wear M& S regular navy wide legged linen trousers which would go with that top.

What's your inside leg measurement?

@Tonissister thanks, Ive just been looking at them online, I’ll see if they have them in my stire, so I can try them on.

You can shorten them with Wundaweb

I’ve got short legs, Uniqlo regular length fits me - usually a 29/30 leg

I agree. I am a relatively shortlegged 5' 4" and M&S regular is perfect. And that's across the range of trousers and jeans.

Or if you are very short of leg. Try the jeans/trousers that are labelled as ankle length in M&S and get the regular in those.

Would navy not make it look a bit work like? Maybe a pale yellow or cream would be more holiday like?

That's your staring point. Measure your inside leg and you'll never make a mistake again. I'm same height as you and 27 inch is perfect fo4 flats, and 30 for heels

M ans S have some wide leg navy trousers in 3 lengths. They are amazingly comfortable and only £19.50.

I think I'm so undecided between what style to go for too, so that doesn’t help!
