Eye cream recommendations for under-eye bags without surgery or injections

I am using the No7 eye stuff but my eyebags (tear duct things) are still huge and look awful.

I don't want any surgery or injections. Is there anything at all that really does what it says on the tin? I had heard the No7 stuff is the best of the mid price products, i've been using it for around a month so do i need to keep on?

Or do i need to bite the bullet and get something really expensive?

I don’t think any cream is realistically going to shrink loose skin unfortunately. No injectable would do this either. I think the only option would be a lower blepharoplasty.

One month is still early for any eye cream to show meaningful results honestly. The under-eye area responds slowly & most ingredients need consistent use over 3-6 months before a fair assessment. Price isn't always the deciding factor either, what matters more is what's in the formula. For under-eye bags specifically, look for caffeine for fluid drainage & puffiness, peptides like palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 for structural support, & niacinamide for overall skin quality in that area. Retinol (in low concentration) helps long term with skin thickness too. Hope this helps!

thanks - that's helpful. I read yonks ago that the No7 stuff was good, i went in for something else but they didn't have it. It was on 3 for 2 so i have at least 6 months worth. Maybe I'll take a monthly photo to check!

I love the Gatineau under eye corrector (the miracle balm)

AngryHerring · 14/04/2026 14:06

does that have to be worn in combination with make up?

No I sometimes use it just on its own. If you have a look in instagram there’s loads of videos of people using it. It blends into your skin colour. I think it’s fab. A bit pricey but honestly you need a tiny tiny amount.
