Has anyone else noticed a drop in quality of Uniqlo T-shirts?

I became a Uniqlo convert last year, I know I’m a bit behind! I loved their t shirts so I ordered some more last week but the quality seems to have dropped. Has anyone else found this? The material is thinner, I’m hoping they will still wash as well as my older ones.

I just bought a new one yesterday after loving the ones I got last year and seems exactly the same. Did you definitely get the exact same type? They have so many options of fabrics etc

I checked my order from last year and I thought I had bought the same, but maybe I went wrong. As you say they have loads!

I got the crew neck t shirt and feels the same to me. The airism ones are thinner. Which one do you have?

i find the crew neck t-shirts are thicker material with a thick neck hem. The supima cotton t shirts are more like traditional t shirts.

i have been buying uniqlo t shirts for years and haven’t noticed a difference.

As a previous poster said, there are lots of styles with subtle differences, so it’s easy to get confused (i do).

I can't comment specifically on their T shirts but I find Uniqlo quality generally to be very inconsistent. There've been a few occasions when I've bought something and liked it so much that I've ordered another, only to find that the second time, it's a piece of crap.

I've always assumed they frequently switch suppliers to keep costs down and that the standardisation between them (suppliers) isn't good enough.

I’ve been going through my wardrobe recently and it made me think that some of my more recent t-shirts from Uniqlo haven’t been lasting as long as they used to. Completely agree there are lots to choose from and it might not be every range, but it has been on the ones I bought. Def looking old and tired (and colourwashed) before their time.

Might they be summer weight ones?

Both times I have bought Supima 100% cotton, they have different reference numbers though. Perhaps they have switched factories.
