Shampoo and/or conditioner to cover grey roots?!

I have my hair done every 7 weeks but increasingly I’m struggling with grey roots. Can anyone recommend a temporary fix? I’ve got brown hair that is generally happy with any products!

I use MagicTouch spray? Eva Longoria recommended it so I've used it and never looked back!

Defy Grey by John Frieda, if you can find it (it was on offer at Superdrug but seems not to be available there, might be able to get it elsewhere).

Schwarzkopf Chroma ID in Raw Cacao. I use it once a week once the roots come through and probably buys me another 6 weeks before I have to go back to the hairdressers. The Colour Wow powder is good for emergency coverage but that only lasts until the next wash.

Have you tried tea? I think you're supposed to make VERY strong black tea, wait for it to cool then dab it through your roots. Needs a few applications.
