Need a seemingly non existent wedding outfit to hide disproportionate limbs

I’m middle aged but look quite young (from a distance) I live in baggy clothes and don’t have legs for dresses or shorts. I’ve lost weight but thanks to lipodema I have oversized arms that I’d prefer were covered up as they look disproportionately large for the rest of me. I never get dressed up by la-de-da standards but I can look nice enough by mine.

However…

I have a la-de-da wedding to go to in June in Surrey (think minor royals, MPs, judges etc). It has a smart dress code. Its with the in-laws and they don’t like me too much as I’m
considered common. If my DH didn’t need the support I probably wouldn’t go but he needs me there.

I need to find something to wear I’m comfortable with so I can fend off the usual put downs and passive aggressive crap that comes my way from this side of the family.

I don’t want a jump suit as I’ll look like a convict. I don’t have £300+ to spend on something. My knees must be hidden, my elbow and up need to be covered, I can’t wear heels due to a disability (I live in trainers as the support my ankles and stop me dislocating). I’m not into florals or wild patterns.

I’d love a 3piece suit with waistcoat but I’m not sure if that’s smart enough for women and the ones I like are either skinny legged or extortionate.

what can I wear?

I think you could go with some wide leg trousers, maybe navy, a funky colour waistcoat and a soft fabric blouse with a pussy bow. Add some kitten heels or pointy toe flats and a smart clutch.

How much are you realistically looking to spend?
