Talking of Liberty fragrances, todays mini I'm using up is their 1875 and it's lovely! Off to find one of the travel size ones on Vinted to try it properly now...

PuzzlingRecluse · Yesterday 14:20

Ended up buying a full size of that one.

@Campingintherain2024 - I can recommend Zoeva eyeliners if you're looking to try different colours - they are highly rated on the MN beauty threads and you can get a 10% new customer discount. Plus, they have some good offers at the moment.

Thank you. I'm having a look now!

My box is 6 stops away Grin I usually like to know what's in there as I'm basically quite impatient, but this time I've going to wait. I'm encouraged by the positive responses so far and I quite fancy the surprise now!

Lurkingshark · Yesterday 14:53

Ooh I’m please with my prediction accuracy! Consolations to the person wanting a jelly cat. As someone said something for everyone… yay! 🎉

Lurkingshark · Yesterday 14:55

Although tiny AB can do one. I may be in the minority there though

HaveYouHadYourBreak · Yesterday 15:06

It has just turned up! Very pleased. 😊

Two were things I needed to buy for holiday so yay!
I'll use another item but don't love it which is good because I have one of their other ones and I love it but can't afford a full size so am saving it "for special". 🤣
I wont use the make up item. I have soooo many of them all sat unloved. I need to find some other way of using them.
The other sample is good because it's an expensive item I would never buy blind which is the whole point of these boxes.
The last full size is fine. I'll use it.

So generally good size items, things I wouldn't normally buy and good samples of things I wouldn't buy without trying.

I'd say 8/10 so am happy I stayed signed up

That was the product that surprised me - surely most people have tried it by now, so why include it? But I did notice it said icons as well as new things. I'm one of those who likes it, but was surprised to see it in there. Overall, I think it's a good box.

It is tiny but it will give me a good idea of whether the texture would work for me. It's a few days worth.

I don't have the budget for the full size anyway but if I did, it would still be too expensive to buy it without trying it first.

Why isn’t the Westman atelier lip liner pregnancy safe!?! I’m not pregnant but I would have never thought to check a lip liner!

Housewife2010 · Yesterday 15:12

I was so pleased to see the Westman Atelier was a lip liner - when I first saw it I thought it would probably be a black eye liner which I didn't want.
I think this is only the second make up item we've had. The other was the sparkly chunky eyeliner pencil - I had glittery green.
I've had every box and I think it's great value.

Probably has caster oil?

Eta - it does. I havent looked at the other ingredients so it might be those as well

MulberryPeony · Yesterday 15:16

Ooh nice. That’s what I would have tried from Beauty Pie anyway. I’ll resubscribe after my holidays. What is the fragrance like?

Carpaccia · Yesterday 15:22

Really pleased! I'm never mega-excited by hair stuff, but otherwise really happy!

GreaterCassowary · Yesterday 16:06

Well, I hate to be the awkward one but this isn't a great box for me. I was intrigued by how heavy the box was this time but the products just aren't good ones for me.

Shampoo & conditioner - fine, will get used eventually but I'm not fussed about these.

Lip liner - great idea and nice for a change but the colour will be dreadful on me, too pink/cool-toned, so that'll be going straight on Vinted. This would have been amazing in a better colour (for me).

Moisturiser - I don't mind this, just not very exciting.

Perfume - I've had a sample of this before from Liberty, it's ok but not a favourite. Vinted.

Superdrops - I have no idea what these are for or what they do. I generally prefer a simpler beauty routine though and don't particularly want to add in an additional product. Will have to see if they sell well on Vinted before deciding what to do.

So all in all this is probably the worst box I've ever had as there's nothing I'm excited about. But never mind, I loved the hand cream that you all hated in the last box so swings and roundabouts! 😂

Nanda66 · Yesterday 16:45

I was a bit disappointed in this month’s box, it’s probably the one I’ve liked least. I’m hoping that I like the shampoo and conditioner but not that keen on the other items.

BCSurvivor · Yesterday 16:45

The fragrance sample reminded me of how much I loved Adelphi Sun when it was in one of the kits a couple of years ago!

TreesinthePark · Yesterday 16:46

My box hasn't arrived yet but I have the Adelphi Sun 8ml so just had a spritz of that to remind myself what its like. Its lovely and a reminder that if I insist on forever expanding my perfume collection I need to be rotating scents more!

This is a box I can objectively appreciate as good although not a wow for me personally. I am looking forward to the Beauty Pie drops though. I am spoilt from ACs and edits etc because 7ml of AB cream is a real treat if you've not had it before.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · Yesterday 17:19

Mine is still on its way but looking at the spoiler I'm not excited apart from the AB as I do like their stuff

Perfume I always like to see.

Good to see a WA product but depending on the colour will be either sold or kept as a spare as recently bought a Lisa Eldridge one (which I'm in love with)

Don't like Maria Nila products as the last lot we got in a BD drop turned my hair into straw (plus I'm wedded to my Dizziak conditioner) so these will be given away.

Beauty Pie although I use their Sheer Tinted SPF & Wonder Powder, they're not a premium brand in my eyes.

I think I'll stay with BD to see what the October box is like and then decide from there.

ACAC2023 · Yesterday 17:27

I’m also going against the majority. Surprised there is such love for this box. I’ll try the shampoo & conditioner but not sure about the rest. Don’t wear lip colours, perfume ok but not one I’d wear or buy. I think it’s definitely time for me to say goodbye to BD. I’ll wait until Friday & see if there is 20% off Oribe as I’ll use some of my credit on that

ACAC2023 · Yesterday 17:53

Actually, I sprayed a small amount of the perfume on, it seemed ok at first but I really dislike it now

Hicupping · Yesterday 17:56

Same, good at start but not fond of it after a few hours, I think it's the Ambrox which another person alerted me too. Blue Talisman had the same.

bendybusbuggy1 · Yesterday 18:06

I love the box. The perfume is athe first liberty perfume I like )bit concerned now about the longevity though from PPs comments)

The only thing I won't use are the superdrops

GreaterCassowary · Yesterday 18:56

I've just looked up the Beauty Pie drops and they apparently help to reduce pore size so I'm going to try them as my pores do seem to be getting more and more like pot holes as I get older.
