Where to get girls shortie pjs that don't gape open

I need some new shortie PJ's for my 7 year old DD (size 8-9yrs) but the ones we had last year were like bloomers and would fall open indecently if she sat with her legs open. She doesn't wear pants with them so I won't want her to have ones like that again. It's hard to tell when buying because they tend to be sold in a plastic packet. Where can I buy inexpensive shortie pjs that come a bit further down the leg or are more fitted?

Buy boys ones! They have longer legs and don’t gape.

You might have to look around a bit to find ones that she likes but you should be able to find some gender neutral enough ones (especially around cartoons) that she will find acceptable.

Buy boys pjs or get cycling shorts and a suitable tshirt. Some girls clothes are so poorly designed (thin pants with diggy in elastic are my biggest annoyance).

Or will she wear a nightgown?
