Teenagers and blackheads - what to use

I follow dermatologist accounts on Facebook but I can’t remember what the right product is to help with blackheads. It’s something like glycolic acid but I can’t remember. Anyone have an ideas?

For teens, salicylic acid is the go-to for blackheads since it's oil-soluble and can actually get into the pore lining where the congestion sits. A low percentage BHA cleanser or toner a few times a week is a good starting point (nothing too aggressive). Niacinamide alongside it helps with sebum regulation without being harsh.

There is a brand called something like Cosrx. They have a black head remover lotion. The older teens in my extended family all rave about it.
