What to wear over this? May wedding.

So I’m wearing this dress to a wedding in mid-May and need to find something flexible to wear over it (wearing with silver jewellery) for travelling between wedding/reception venues.

Unfortunately due to an accident and subsequent temporary immobilisation, any shopping for this will now need to be online so I need to narrow down ideas.

early 60s, size 18 with no discernible waist- was thinking of something soft/flowy rather than structured to give flexibility with sizing as I don’t want to order multiple sizes - other than that, no idea!

any suggestions gratefully welcome!

I was going to say a cream bouclé jacket. You could get one of the cropped styles without fastening.
