What do you think of this bomber jacket?

Probably late to the party but I keep seeing everyone in lovely bomber jackets. I’m 41 and I ant find one that I really like.

I love it. Gorgeous colour aswell

It's really nice but it's mainly polyester so might not be that nice to wear. It depends if you care about that kind of thing.

I’d say it’s the least nice bomber jacket Zara has! (Apart from the faux anything.) Odd, drab colour and unpleasant fabric.

Look again at the cotton / denim options? (Or suede / leather if not too expensive.)

It’s a nice shape but I think the colour is a bit drab for coming in to spring. Zara has loads of similar bomber jackets that are much nicer I think than this one. I have a fake leather one that I wore a lot over winter and have ordered a beige suede one that looks nice and light for spring.

It’s nice but if you’ve any boob at at all those pocket flaps will project outward.

I don't like this newish bomber jacket shape or how it sits at the bottom.

I've seen better colours and fabric options that are for Spring/Summer. This one does look a bit like a WW2 uniform jacket tweaked.

I'm fed up of clothes all aimed at women with small boobs. I know the fashion is for shorter cut tops, but once mine gets over my middle aged shelf, it will barely hang low enough to tuck in!

The jacket is nice otherwise, loads around though.

I love this. Think I’ve tried it on and felt the colour would have been perfect going into Autumn not Spring. Also these fabrics will bobble so it’s only going to last a short time compared to wool. But it is what it is. Nice style in my opinion :)

But really, @Coffeequeen1013 - if you’re not seeing a bomber jacket you like, just ignore them! They’re not compulsory.

I did think the colour might be a bit miserable for Spring/Summer.

I don’t want to spend a fortune on an expensive one but if anyone can suggest any nicer ones please do?

Yep I feel the same. It’s lovely but for someone like me, on the larger side with size 36G boobs it would just look like a crop top with flaps.

I think its lovely. I do think you probably need the right build for it. I'm just thinking for myself, shorter with a bit of middle age spread! 🫢

I love it but I think the shape looks best on a slim and willowy figure. I’d look awful in it, sadly!

I’m not keen on this one at all, but that’s probably because I passionately loathe anything quilted.

Do you follow Melissa Murrell on IG? She wears lots of bomber jackets with barrel leg jeans so you could have a scroll through her page for ideas. Also check invest in style and missy elz on IG. They wear nice bombers.
