Coat / Jacket to wear with this dress?

Help! I have this dress to wear to the races on Saturday however the weather is looking pretty rubbish… ten degrees and likely to rain. What kind of coat / jacket would be best to wear with it? Or do I change to something more weather appropriate?

would be interested in what shoes people would say too.

That's a beautiful dress. I'd be tempted to go with a dressy jacket and keep out the rain rather than cover it up!
