Medik8 gets good reviews but is expensive. Do I need to bite the bullet or is there something cheaper which is as good? Need something to stop my skin looking dull.

Elf C+ E ferulic serum is amazing. You do have to shake it really well to mix before each use but only 3/4 little drops covers my whole face.

They do a small bottle for £9, I’ve had mine since November so it’s lasting well for a tiny bottle, but I only use 2/3 times a week in between other products.
A larger bottle is £16.

The Tetra-C Advanced should be a much better price on eBay and Vinted as it was in a GWP recently.

I use Revolution 12.5% vitamin C serum and I love it. I prefer it to Medik8 actually. You might want to start with the 3% strength. Use in the morning after cleansing and before moisturizer. Always use a separate SPF product of at least factor 30

That’s tempting but I am so worried I’d buy a fake

Thanks, saw a good review of this one too.

Thanks all have just ordered the Elf, it had more positive reviews on Boots website than the revolution one. Ordered Spf as well.

What's GWP?

@ThatLilacTiger gift with purchase.
Sometimes brands give little sample sizes or gift sets as free gifts to incentivise you to buy 2 or more products. A lot of people sell them on eBay/Vinted

Oh right, sorry being dense. I love a gift with purchase too. Tell you what marketing works a charm on me is beauty boxes. I have so many expensive brands I have to buy regularly now after being gifted a few beauty boxes.

I use a Boots one, it’s about £6 and incredibly effective.

Recently I'm leaning toward T-C as well.

I use La roche posay's moisturiser and spf50. I will share my routine with that if that helps:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Vit C serum
LRP spf50
Evening:
Merit or LRP moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel
