Has anyone had the patent birkenstocks?

Hi all

I previously had some birkenstock arizonas in rose gold and they are the comfiest thing ever. I have ordered some of patent ones and they feel a bit tight on the sides (the W width was too wide so have Narrow).

Will they wear in? I really want a bright colour one but cant remember my others feeling like that at the start. The rose gold ones aren't real leather either so I was hoping that the patent ones will feel the same eventually...
