Any recommendations please? Apparently my vitamin c revitalift is not compatible. Ideally something I can get in Boots! 🙂

If your Dermatica prescription has Tretinoin in it, keep the rest of your routine really simple: a gentle cleanser and moisturiser, and SPF. I like the CeraVe oil-based face wash, and La Roche Posay moisturiser, look for something gentle that will protect your skin barrier.

Yes sorry it’s the tret one (lowest strength). Thank you will take a look.

i also use the Cerave cleanser and a Cerave moisturiser. The ceramides help support your skin barrier. I used Clinique previously but it just didn’t cut it - my skin was so red and sore.

I’ve used lots of expensive skincare in the past, but realised in the end my money was better spend on treatments like microneedling, tret and Botox (personal choice on the latter!) and instead having a basic skincare routine that I am consistent with. When I was using Charlotte tilbury moisturiser I noticed I was trying to make it last longer! So now I use Cera Ve cleanser and have a massive pot of cera ve moisturiser that does the job well, is cheap and doesn’t make me want to limit its use!

Looks like these would be ok? I quite like a face wash in morning but cream cleanser at night.

CeraVe Family Sized Cleanse & Care Duo
and the oil cleanser?

I already have a separate face spf to use.

I use the hydrating cleanser in the morning as my skin is quite dry from tret. I use Liz Earle cleanse and polish in the evening as I like the exfoliating feel of the cloth and it’s easier to get make up off.

For the moisturising lotion you can get it in big tubs which makes it more cost effective: https://www.boots.com/cerave-moisturising-cream-pump-454ml-10308663?traffic=paid.shopping&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21096115648&gbraid=0AAAAA-AdmwQ_4HiFHC3_orYU-z_J0KIcT&gclid=Cj0KCQjw7cLOBhDmARIsAGsuA0mHGiYxz1si6ISnBsOriNsNbwE-JAtzNaEJKiiG5vuRDmPp5xG5upIaAqv7EALw_wcB

I use Vit C serum, Cerave PM and a separate sunscreen.

At night I cleanse then after about 30 minutes apply my tret. Then use Illiyoon cream on top. Zero flakiness.

Thanks so much everyone!
