MAC stuff that I love is their lipglass (glosses) and eye pigments.

Pigments are basically eyeshadows BUT so much easier to blend and to mix iykiwm.
I used the MAC shadesticks in various colours (can't remember names sorry..) such as lilac, pink, green black etc and then use the pigments on top.

The shardsticks go with any similar colour for example I used a green shadstick as a base with golden olive pigment ontop. OR the pink shadstick base with pink kitschmas pigment or violetn pigment or both ontop. Like I said, MAC pigments are brill, they are pricy (iir £15..?) BUT given the fact that they go a long way they are well worth it.

BTW, Im dark hair and blue eyes.

The most admiring comments I get are when im wearing the violet eyepigment. hth x

The staff in MAC stores are all make-up artists, not sales assistants, so if you tell them you are looking for a capsule collection of make-up and are a make-up novice, they will be able to try things on your skin, show you how to use products, and guide you to colours.

What fun, good luck!

Goodluck da. The pigments are for expert use BUT im no expert and in fact taught myself all I know makeup wise so thats proof in itself that they are easy to use and so very adaptable. .
