Experiences of upper or lower blepharoplasty and likely costs?

Hi

Have had a difficult couple of years and it really is starting to show. Went to see a respected Dr about starting botox and/or polynucleotides (very nervous as have never done anything like this before) and he suggested that the best thing, to make me look more rested, would actually be a lower and possibly upper Bleph.

Following this surgery he said he could provide some botox on my 11s. He recommended a Dr and estimated that the costs would be about 10k for both but didnt know for sure/just one procedure. He was unsure if I needed the upper so said ask the specialist at the consultation- it may make sense to get both done at the same time but the upper was a smaller concern. He recommended Dr Nick Koutroumanos. Just wondered if anyone had any experience of him and or this surgery. I have a friend who has had an upper bleep which went very well but I understand the lower bleph is slightly more difficult/ risky?

Would be grateful for your views/sharing of any experiences/ideas of risk or cost.

Thank you.

I had an upper bleph about 6 years ago and it was amazing. I’m so glad I got it done. It cost me around £1k but I’m in Scotland and also got a friends and family discount. I would expect this to cost about £2.5k for upper in Scotland, no idea about prices elsewhere. There’s a good blepharoplasty group on Facebook that will probably be busier and more informative than here so I’d maybe join that and get recommendations there instead.
