Very fine knit jumpers

I once bought my DH a navy jumper from J Smedley. They do a fine knit cashmere jumper that he really likes. Their prices however are too high for us so I have been looking for alternatives.

Uniqlo used to do a nice one, but they must have changed the design because their cashmere crew jumpers are now thicker than they used to be and have more "fluff"

Does anyone know of a brand that does good quality fine knit jumpers for less than £150? (ideally much less :) )

Tiny bit above the price range, but Falconeri cashmere is remarkable. Their men's ultra fine comes in at around 180GBP. It is the same cashmere and same mills as Bruno Cucinelli use. My ultra fine sweaters from there still look completely new after a few years of wear. They are truly gorgeous. There is SUCH a difference between even quite expensive high-street cashmere (like Cos and Uniqlo) and this. I could never buy anything else now, having felt the material and seen how well they wear.
