Hi. I don't post on this board very often but I really need some advice. I have a family members 60th party coming up and I want to wear something nice. The problem is, I have a stoma bag and as a result of the stoma surgery, a massive hernia. I look about 8 months pregnant, I kid you not! I'm very slim as well so you can really see it in most clothes. (I am awaiting abdominal reconstruction surgery but that's a whole other thread!)
I haven't bought any new clothes recently but I do want something new for this party. I need something with a long top that skims over the hernia or I will be self conscious all night. I have bought this and it actually looks great, it hides the hernia really well, but I'm second guessing myself now. Will this be OK do you think if I jazz it up a bit with some jewellery or does it look a bit officey? Help!
