He’ll me find my husband some new jumpers

He is wearing these awful crew neck cheap sweaters with sweat pants when WFH and with a shirt under for office (not “quite” as bad) but Jesus theyre awful. Now if this were a thread on AIBU then of course I AM being U. But this isn’t. Its style and beauty so please
help me find something better. He won’t wear a quarter zip or anything cable knit. He’s got one cardigan which is just about ok and when it’s warmer wil wear linen shirt or cotton shirt and jacket but casually usually wears a band t shirt and one of these nylon jumpers over. I don’t know why I hate them so much. Well I think maybe they remind me of his dad. Could that be it ?!! He’s too young to wear horrid jumpers. Would be fab if there’s any on Vinted too !! He’s an XL but wears a L which doesn’t help. All suggestions welcome. He’s got gorgeous turquoise blue eyes and fair hair.

Sorry, no real suggestions - although maybe look at Fatface, I think the men's range has held up better than the women's - it would be (it was!) the sweat pants that would bother me, not the jumpers. Some men have an extraordinary ability not to care what they wear.

fat face is a good shout. It’s not even proper sport sweat pants some days it’s pj bottoms. It’s such a bad look.

@HobsonschoiceofhobA Shacket over a t shirt? Check shirt over a t shirt? M&S is brilliant for men’s coordinates these days. Really nice polo shirt type tops as well. You cannot go wrong really.

How old is he? Is he XL with muscle?

My DH is L/XL 6’2 muscle and ASOS, TopMan and some M&S are the best fit on him; very flattering.

They’re quite fine knit so look expensive and smart with either a shirt underneath or a t-shirt. The teal one could be a nice colour on him. Dh has had a few (that I’ve bought over the years) and they wash well and last.
