Any advise, tips, is it worth it etc?

Any prep needed, I've been told you need to shave before starting but not keen to do that to my face

Hi OP, at-home IPL devices can work well but from what I know they're most effective on lighter skin with darker hair since the technology targets the contrast between the two. For facial hair specifically I'd be a bit cautious since hormonal facial hair tends to be more resistant & results are slower than on body areas.
