Affordable wig for woman with thin hair

I have had thin hair since my teens. This week I cut it all off and got a (very, very short) pixie haircut.

I would also like to get a wig or two to be able to be able to change my looks.

Could anyone recommend a website or salon ( I live on the Kent coast) where I could get some decent quality, not too heavy synthetic wigs?

This place in central London. You can try on loads. I lost my hair due to chemo, and they were brilliant www.raoulwigmakers.co.uk/

I use https://www.simplywigs.co.uk/ and I've always found them good. They have a wide choice and a good returns policy. You can order two or three and return those that don't suit.

I buy mid-range wigs usually around the £400 mark. There is quite a wide price-range available, though. If you aren't wearing a wig all the time you might be able to go for a cheaper wig with a slightly less comfortable construction.

If your hair loss is down to a diagnosed medical condition, you can sign an online form to the effect that you medically require a wig, then you don't pay the VAT.
