Help me choose a colour - Pom Pom City bag

Hi S&B gurus, can you help me please?

I think I've decided on a Pom Pom London City bag - I'm a wheelchair user, and cross-body style bags with a wide, woven strap are both secure and comfortable for me.

But...what colour? I'd like to be a little bolder with a summer colour, and I can only afford one, so buying several to match various outfits isn't an option. I do wear fairly bright colours in the summer, so what colour bag should I go for? I quite like contrasting colours, but don't want to look ridiculous.

Pom Pom has so many different colours, I'm at a loss!

The lupin blue is really nice

straw, yellow or red also get my vote

I have a off red Cross body that goes with a strange amount of stuff.

What colour clothes do you generally wear? Do you have a favourite colour?

I seem to wear a lot of blue, pink and patterns, white & beiges.

I do love the lupin and also the new straw colours......

Great choice of bag. I always think I’ll make a bolder colour choice and then chicken out because I worry about what it will go with. The PomPom bags do come with two fabric straps of your choice (from a shortlist linked to the bag) so that gives a couple of looks right away and you could buy an extra strap in a different colour/pattern to mix things up a bit more? I’d probably be a bit boring and go for something like Maple because I could add lots of different colours strap-wise that way.

After a quick look. I liked the Piccadilly Line Blue. But if you have other blue bags I'd go with a dusky pink to mix things up a bit

I am very tempted by the Piccadilly Line bag - DH is from a part of London where this line was his local one, so it would be quite applicable (and it will be interesting to see if he even notices, such are his powers of observation with my clothes or accessories!).

They're really nice bags

Why is the Piccadilly Line bag the colour of the Victoria Line? Weird.

They have some gorgeous colours. I like the Lupin, Straw, Burnt Orange and that pale sagey green (forget the name of the colour.)

I'd probably go for burnt orange. It is blue's complimentary colour, and you say you wear a lot of blue. It's a lovely hot colour for summer, but it would also work with autumnal shades.

I think you need 2 OP. A neutral and a brighter colour. Sorry 😂

I love the lupin blue too. I cannot get it as I already have slate blue for winter and the pale blue for summer, but I do love it.

Burnt orange is nice as it is bright but not ridiculous – if you have clothes in that sort of range I guess. Which I see you don't!

I was wary of the Piccadilly Line blue – in some images it looks quite purply but I suspect it is really a bright royal blue. I have the Lizzie Line which is a gorgeous rich purple.

Btw you can get any two straps, not just the ones they suggest.

Could you justify a toned-down City and then a Mini City in a bright colour? #helpful

The salt grey is actually a great neutral which avoids brown or black and really looks good with many clothes I suspect.

I might sound really boring but I’d get a light neutral colour and some different straps. You can buy replacement straps all over now, I got one for a fiver from Matalan (I think).

I don’t really buy colourful bags now but do have some lovely straps.
