I think the trick is managing to differentiate between her as the bride when not wearing a traditional dress. Preferences on material, sleeve, necklace and dress length?

I had mine custom designed. It wasn’t any more expensive (£1200, though 20 years ago) than many dresses in bridal shops. We went fabric shopping together and it was a cream satin sheath with a rose embroidered green tulle long ‘coat’ with slight train. Totally unique!

What does she not like about the first neckline?

She likes the Phase 8 style, but the darker green is too dark. I think some of the others are what my mother would have called “skimpy” for her! She doesn’t like the neckline of the first one because she wants to wear jewellery. Her partner’s family are Hindu, and her mother-in-law will give her gold….
