Crocs

I feel a bit odd asking this question here. What do people who actually own crocs think of them.

I'm looking for a pair of shoes I can just pop on at 4am to go to dialysis. They need to be suitable in all weathers.

If you do have them, what's the fit like I have wide feed.

I love all the colours, and the fact that they never ever give you a blister. Blissful!

Wearing some now. Stylish and beautiful - nope. Comfortable and practical - definitely!

I resisted crocs for years and years. Once I had a puppy in 2020 I relented and now have 10+ pairs. Mostly platform pairs and wear in every weather. Literally just got back from a long dog walk (7 miles) where both DS15 and I wore crocs.

Many years ago I worked as a chef and had some crocs with no holes. They were called "work clogs" I think. Absolutely hideous things but so so comfortable for standing all day and evening on a hard tiled floor. I still have them and use them for DIY and gardening and they still have years of wear left, although they are now covered in paint.

I had a pair with fleece lining. They were great but the lining couldn’t be removed and they became a bit smelly in summer so wouldn’t recommend those. Get plain ones and wear socks.

Crocs with socks are the best

I absolutely love mine. I find it difficult to find comfortable shoes but crocs are really comfortable for me.
I don’t care what anyone else thinks. Years of cramming my feet into tight, uncomfortable pointed stilettos has left me with painful feet. Now I choose comfort over style.
I take mine on holiday as opposed to flip flops.

It's a slippery slope!!! After resisting them for years, I bought a pair for 'nipping out with the bins' and now are worn most places :)
