Luggage for a holiday in Canada & into retirement

Looking to upgrade our luggage which is all a bit of a hot hour h. Want to invest in something nice, hard wearing and can be repaired.

Any suggestions ?

I went with Briggs and Riley. Repairable and lifetime guarantee (no clue if any of that is true).
I prefer hard shell. Got a carry on size and medium.
I also got a 3rd piece, a soft sided bag to hold my purse with room for stuff I want close at hand like my headphones, slippers, snacks.
