What do you use on your grey hair to make it shine

I have good thickish straightish grey hair that I want to look more shiny. A healthy attractive shine rather than the sort achieved by making it flat and straight. Any ideas?

Hi there. Look for a conditioner (or hair mask) with hydrolyzed silk or keratin proteins, they temporarily fill & smooth the cuticle creating a healthy light-reflective shine. Also a lightweight hair oil applied to dry hair after styling (something with argan oil/camellia oil) works really well on grey hair.

My hair is thick and I use White Hot Hair shampoos and conditioner followed by their Lifeshine Oil when I remember. My hair always looks shiny and feels lovely and soft.

John Frieda Secret Agent Touch-Up Crème. I was only using it because I'd left the house with wet hair and it'd dried frizzy. Loads of people complimented my 'glowing' hair! It did, indeed, make it soft, smooth and shiny. Looked a bit greasy when first applied, brushed it through and the magic happened.

I'm going back to bleach, though. I dislike having hair of an indeterminate colour, even if it is glowing.

Leo Bancroft range available in Tesco. There is a Mirror shine one.
