Spring trends - everyday casual outfit uniform?

Now that Spring is here I have forgotten what I wore all last Spring! In summer I generally wore linen oversized shirts with shorts or jeans, sandals or trainers. (Will this do for Summer 2026?) My winter outfit is jumper / sweater, dark blue long wide leg / barrel jeans & trainers.

But what can I wear in Spring? I generally wear very casual everyday as my workplace is uber casual and I have young DC. I’m not sure my dark long jeans feel right in the milder sunshine.

Any ideas for outfit / uniform for milder weather, practical but still vaguely on trend?

I’m loving Uniqlo at the moment.

Great shirts and their barrel legs are lovely.

I am wearing jeans (light blue or ecru) paired with plain t shirts / baby tees and then cute cardigans (only button at the top or not at all) in pastel / patterned colours. It’s like my go to uniform! Cute, comfy and easy to change up depending on spring weather. Paired with basic trainers or clogs currently. Works great with a trench if it’s raining too!

I’m wearing pale jeans with a bit of a flare. Blouses (white, pale florals), trench

for spring, same outfit but with lighter colours and slightly lighter weight fabric. So a paler wide leg or barrel jeans with a thinner jumper, until we are in blouse/shirt season.

Following, I moved house and sold loads of clothes, then lost 20lbs, so need some new clothes and not sure what! Almost 46, size 10, sick of leggings!

I tried both on yesterday and liked them. I would still like a jacket. I know what I want but can’t find it or I should say everything I saw that I liked was the wrong colour, ie brown. I cannot wait for brown to bugger off.
