Has anyone ever bought a dress from Unfolded?

They keep coming up on my FB and a couple of my friends follow them. They are supposed to be sustainable - their clothes are made to order so there is no waste, workers receive a higher wage and they give towards children to learn to read and write. I've bought a dress from them today but it all seems a bit too good to be true. Are they legit?

I too have just ordered - a couple of days ago - had email today saying it would be six weeks - as it’s made to order. I guess I should have thought of that but I didn’t. Just hope it fits as it defeats the whole point if I have to send it back 😂

Mine's going to be eight weeks @Fluffyunicorns which I don't mind as it's a summer dress so I'm not going to be wearing it for a while. But they are viscose which always shrink in my washing machine even on the gentle cool wash their washing instructions say. They are pretty dresses though AND they have pockets!

A friend wears lots of their dresses and loves them.

She always looks great and so I have been tempted and recently bought one on Vinted and I love it.

Quality is very good and it is both pretty and comfortable.

I have a couple of their dresses, and some PJs. They're pretty good, as long as you are OK with the 6 to 8 week wait.
The dresses are light and pack well, and don't get too crushed, so good for holidays.
They're also not expensive, so it's not risking much money if you take a punt.

There's a Facebook group for swaps or selling on and This is Unfolded will pay the postage. I had to do it last year. I find they are a very generous fit but great quality.

oh i'm glad you asked, I was looking at their clothes after they keep popping up on my facebook ads. I think I'll try something out of the archive sale then less wait time. Does anyone know what the sizing is like?

I bought a denim one last year. It's maybe a little large but it's very comfortable and excellent quality.

I intend to buy again the future.

I absolutely love my Daisy denim dress. It’s such soft denim and so well made.
They do come up big. I had mine taken in a bit. All the measurements are on the website. I’ve just ordered the short sleeved version (in a smaller size) as they are such comfortable and practical dresses. ----

I'm so tempted to buy the Maddie in another colour now the sun is out... I really ought to wait until my first one comes to check the size but if I don't order it soon it will arrive too late for spring!

I’ve found that they come up small. And waiting ages! Which I guess is the point but I’m still not convinced. I usually buy them on vinted

Good idea @parkezvous , I'll take a look. Interesting that you think they come up small when others have said they are on the large side. I always shrink viscose anyway!

I ordered a dress from them. It took nearly 3 months to arrive - so too late to wear in the summer. It was too big and even after washing several times and using fabric softener it smelt like fish. I put it in fabric recycling rather than a charity shop as i didn’t think it would sell.
