Have to point out I am not a fan but using her as an illustration for something I want.

I used to use a product from Lush that was for the ends of your hair but you could actually use on layers to get them a bit piecey looking. They discontinued it, I am down to dregs. (It was called Shine So Bright, hair balm for split ends).

I have longish hair and it all looks a bit drab unless I put a bit of shape in it with the Lush product. It just stops it hanging. I haven’t found anything to replace it.

Does anyone know of a product to get that sort of soft kink in the front of the hair?

I think the product you need is a professional blow dry.

I have a hot brush that I use to get those little flicks.

The kink is a brushed out curl from a blow dry with a blow dryer, a product/ balm will not create this.

The thing you circled - I just get that from having my hair tucked behind my ear

I use an air wrap and then brush it out, has the same effect.
