Good or bad?
If I get 1976 printed on a jumper to show I'm 50
What do you all think?

Do you need to show you’re 50 day to day to strangers?

If you like it then it's good. Why would what anyone else thinks matter?

I think people will be trying to work out what brand your sweatshirt is to have been going since 1976. It’s a ‘thing’ that some brands do .

Is this like the Bella Freud ones? Not needed. Don’t think I’d wear one. Looks a bit naff.

Contrary to the other comments, I would just think oooh she must be 50 this year😊

But would you then think “ooh she looks good for her age”?

I know some women who would wear it for the humble brag and to hear “you don’t look your age at all”.

I might think you were a fan of the band.

I hate that “for her age” part of that comment and that would not cross my mind whatsoever.

I would simply think she must be 50 this year.
