Recommendations for 100% cotton straight leg jeans.

I’m 5ft 1in and size 12-14, with a C section tummy which has got bigger with age. I’m looking for some straight leg jeans that don’t stretch and then go baggy, which seems to rule out most of the M&S jeans (like Sienna).
High street prices so £50-£60. Any advice on which ones to try?

I'd look at getting some second hand Levi 501s maybe.

Sadly I’ve got some Levi’s from when I wasn’t well, but a lot slimmer!

H&M have surprisingly good 100% cotton denim. They’ll be too long but are easily hemmed.

I know you mentioned M&S but M&S magic jeans are very good £45 a pair and lots of styles and colours.

look up vinted etc agolde citizen or humanity paige and mother. excellent brands of jeans and excellent quality. I have gone off completely high street jeans the cotton quality not there they don't wash well. started buying some of the brands above during covid and have lived in them.

The Fat Face straight leg ones are good, not sure if they do any without stretch, have a look on the website.

My jeans from Sainsbury’s TU have stretch in them but don’t go baggy.

If on vinted I love Acne, Munthe, Frame jeans. My Acne jeans get better with every wear so even though I spent an absolute fortune on them they should be a good investment. They

oh must try acne are they true to size ?
you have just reminded me I have a fab pair of munthe in the wardrobe must root them out

I’m a 10-12 and wear a 28/29 in Acne so pretty true to size.
