Switching from The Ordinary retinal to Medik8 Crystal Retinal 24 advice

Hi

i have been using the ordinary 0.2% retinal emulsion since it was released 2 years ago, I have also used Geek &/Gorgeous A game 20, both with no negative reactions.

I was planning on stepping up to Tretinoin next but thought I wanna give the new medik8 24 a go first, just one tube.

I contacted them to ask a question and they suggested to start on a lower one crystal retinal 6 or 10 and work my way up the ladder as 24 could be too strong.
I feel that would be a step backwards!

Has anyone gone from the Ordinary retinal to Medik8 24? If so, is it worth the huge difference in price?

Thanks in advance
Marie

I used to use the Ordinary retinol and I used tret froma spanish online company. Now i use medic8 which is retinal and supposed to be stronger. I like it. i started with 6 and soon went up to 10. I bought 20 in the sale but havent used it yet, probably best to start with 10 and work up, i dont think the Ordinary is very strong.

I haven’t used tret but started medik8 on the 10 then jumped to the 20 with no issues at all. 24 next!

Thank you for your replies.
The ordinary retinal 0.2% is one of the strongest OTC you can get.
My concern is the price of medik8 24, will I see much more of a difference to warrant the price difference?

All YouTube reviews I’ve watched said in terms of results comparing the ordinary 0.2% retinal to Medik8 crystal retinal 20, there was no difference in results just medik8 felt more luxurious and calming
Medik8 themselves say results can be move visible for many people, but then they are going to
