Petite smart casual trousers for work

Hi,
Does anyone have any recommendations for trousers for someone 5'2" size 8 aged mid 40s, please? I am bored with rotating between my black trousers and dark blue jeans for work, and would like a pop of colour, if such thing exist!

It's been a while since I've bought trousers from anywhere as they never fit quite right - too long, too baggy, too low on the hips etc.

TIA

Community Clothing trousers often come in two lengths:

Roman do loads of petite clothing. I dont like the majority of their stuff but I have had some real gems from there so its worth a look.

I’ve just bought some black trousers for work from Zara. I am 5”3 and they’re pretty good…

Otherwise, check out M&S, Next or Reiss (depending on your budget). They offer petite sizes!

Thank you for your suggestions. I shall have a look.

I'm really drawn to these trousers from Boden in carmine (sadly sold out in my size) and green.

I don't buy a lot from Boden, but I'm willing to stretch the budget for something that fits well.

Belgravia Ponte Trousers-Hunter Green

Our Belgravia ponte trousers have a flattering wide-leg shape and arrive for the new season as a smart choice that still feel as comfortable as joggers, but still look polished.

I have these and they're very good quality and flattering!

Watching with interest as good fitting trousers are the Holy Grail for us shorties.

Shops that don't have a dedicated petite range usually offer a shorter length but with no adjustment to the overall length. Subsequently, the crotch area is too long and ends at the knees. 😠
