Have you ever had a face lift?

Howdy. I'm thinking about getting a face lift, when I'm older. I'm not even 30 yet, so obviously not getting one yet, but feel that my face is already sagging, and by 40 can see this is going to be a whole situation.

I've always been dead set against fillers/botox, as I just don't like the thought of having something injected into me that I can't take out. I know fillers can be dissolved, but they never actually leave your body 100% which is what irks me. With a face-lift, it's certainly very invasive, which is why I have my apprehensions, but I feel more comfortable with that given I'm not just having random stuff injected into me. (Not saying anything against anyone who does get them, it just isn't for me).

Has anyone here ever had a face-lift? How much did it cost? How did you feel after getting it, and how do you feel about it now? I'm only just starting to look into this for the future and may very well change my mind by then, but the whole procedure has now interested me so I wanted to find out a little more about it. Thanks 😊

Actually filler CAN completely go. I had an ultrasound on my face and there isn’t an ounce left.

Im getting one in Lithuania in May if WW3 hasnt broken out. I wouldnt risk Turkey.
Im going to Nords Aesthetic in Kaunas.
Ive left it a bit late at 64 should really have had one around 55.
I had to lose 5 stone to qualify which took a while. They dont do face lifts on overweight people, too many complications.
Its 7k. Would have been about 20k to 30k over here. My surgeon worked in burns and plastics in France for years so knows his stuff. Ill post some befores and afters.

Good on you for getting it done. So hope I am in a position to get one when im a bit older, if I feel I want to still get one. Sounds like you've researched well before booking it, I must do the same when the time comes. Yes please do post photos after! I love seeing the transformation pics. Good luck!

Really? Thats very interesting to know. Did you get botox as well? Do you know if this can leave the body completely? There's such conflicting evidence online that I dont even know what to believe anymore 🫣

Sorry didn’t notice you’d replied.

I know you can get used to Botox, I tend to switch around the Botox I use (I do my own). There’s a particular brand that doesn’t do much for me. It’s currently all wearing off as I need to reassess my face - I did my DAOs and didn’t like how it affected speech so am just going back to square one.

I probably will have a facelift in a couple of years just because of losing over 200lbs - I look tired!
