What to wear under Betty cardigan?

I love my new cardi but, other than a tee shirt, not sure what to wear under it.
It’s quite cropped and my regular shirts look bunched up at the bottom. I don’t have the body for a crop top.
Looking for something a bit smart so if I remove the cardigan I still look ‘dressed’

Any inspiration welcome.

Is it the Betty from Sezane you’re talking about? I have three and love them but I rarely take them off. I wear them more as an open top/jacket and just keep them on in work or out with friends.
If I had bigger boobs I would maybe wear a silk cami underneath. At the moment I’m wearing the Uniqlo cashmere long sleeved grey or navy thermal tops underneath and in think these would be smart enough to be worn on their own.

Thank you @sociableintrovert123 yes, the Sezane Betty, they’re great aren’t they? My problem is that I want to wear it to an event that’s likely to be warm so need a top that looks smart when I take it off.
I did try a Sezane Eloise shirt but it was too cropped for my body shape.

What about a bodysuit? Primark did a nice one with a lace v neck that was dressy. This was before Christmas so it could be gone now but you could look for something similar.

I don't have it but googling it I would wear it open or partially buttoned over a dress or with a skirt fully buttoned with a slim fitting vest, sized down not to add bulk, either long sleeved thermal, short sleeve or spaghetti strap. The vest layer would be strictly underwear and I wouldn't expect to take it off.

The latter is how Sezanne have styled it - as a blouse / shirt in its own right (although being Sezanne they've omitted the vest layer)
