Bikini - ok to mix and match

Very qq- would this bikini look ok with high waisted all black bottoms?

Thanks @Muckypig I didn’t want to spend loads on another bikini set so mix and match is something I wanted to consider. Really like the Freya bikini so have ordered. Such a good price too!

I mix and match my bikinis all the time. I often team a plain bottom with a patterned top, or vice versa, as long as there is a colour match there somewhere (i.e the plain colour also features in the pattern)

I also mix and match because I can be a different size on the bottom than I am on the top so mixing and matching works well for me.

Yes, if they are similar colours. If you had a brown top and a blue bottom, it might look like you were just in your underwear.

Absolutely. I wear tankini rather than bikini tops, I get patterned ones and then match with swimshorts in plain black or navy.

Yes, of course. I think that top would actually look better with plain black bottoms than matching ones. I always think mix and match with bikinis looks a bit more chic/cool than fully matched.

Thanks everyone. I only started wearing bikinis last year (got over some some body image issues) and this is going to be my second holiday wearing them . I have two full sets and wanted a third one as a longer holiday this time. I have a large bust so this is probably going to be a game changer going forward as bikinis are pretty pricy if I want a good fit 👙
